Opening or Changing a Girl Scout Bank Account

Before opening a Girl Scout bank account, choose a bank and obtain a contact person at that bank.

Be sure to check and see if the account will be free or have a minimal monthly charge.

Check with local volunteers on your Service Unit Team to find out which banks are easy to work with in your local area.

Must be a registered Girl Scout Member for the current year
Must have completed a background check and have been found eligible to volunteer
Must not be related to, living with or in a relationship with any of the other signers

Upon approval of this request, a letter will be faxed to your chosen bank approving your request. You will be notified via email from GSNETX.

The email will also remind you to provide the bank with your full account number and where you would like the statements to be delivered.
